Nick Gibb stays as Minister of State for Schools

New Prime Minister Theresa May has confirmed Gibb will stay on

Prime Minister Theresa May has announced that Nick Gibb will stay on as minister of state for schools.

After Nicky Morgan had been replaced with Justine Greening there was speculation Gibb could have departed too, but on Sunday morning it was announced that he had held on to his job.

This despite backing Boris Johnson and then Michael Gove, rather than May in the Tory leadership race.
