About me:
I work very well with children; with the experience of being a classroom assistant I understand how to make mathematics accessible to all students of different abilities. With a range of teaching methods I am able to cater to each student by making maths applicable to real life situations and fun to learn.
As a PGCE Secondary Mathematics student I am able to provide tutoring within Mathematics that is closely linked to the current curriculum and the recent changes within it. With the experience of working in different schools I am able to understand the usefulness of different teaching strategies.
As a tutor I have a calm approach that allows students to become comfortable in addressing gaps in their knowledge.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
I enjoy going to the gym, cooking for my family and socialising with friends. I am also very passionate about writing poetry and I perform regularly at different venues.
