About me:

I am an easy-going but methodical person.  I tend to learn and apply new concepts well and make friends easily. I would do my level best to work as part of a project or any other team.

I take kindly to information and communications technology and would use this as a working tool for the design and implementation of a wide variety of projects or pursuits. Teaching is second nature to me since I relish the challenge of facilitating learning to users from assorted backgrounds and ability.

I joined the teaching profession from industry sixteen years ago and returned to my initial profession for a year or so. My second coming to teaching has made me appreciate the importance of letting students take ownership of their own learning.

What I do when I am not tutoring:

My working day entails teaching a range of subjects at the secondary school level. The subject specialisms I teach depend on the mix that the Head Teacher decides to allocate to me. By and large, I do not teach more than two subjects at any given school.

During my free time, I tend to make up for the unduly long hours I spend either in school or attending to matters relating to same. My hobbies include listening to music, watching films, documentaries and quiz programmes on the Television, keeping fit by jogging and travelling abroad and discovering other cultures, amongst other things.
