About me: My name is Kennedy, I’m 21 and I graduate from King’s College London in May 2015 with a degree in English Language and Linguistics. I’m an approachable, hardworking and reliable individual who loves the rewarding nature of tutoring! English is my passion and sharing this with others is incredibly fulfilling for me. I`m a very patient person and would love to work with you to improve your grade in English. I have previously worked for Tutors United (for one year) whereby I tutored groups of 2-6 pupils to raise their attainment and improve their confidence in English. This was geared towards the KS2 SATs exams. My additional responsibilities included lesson planning and organizing, designing materials, marking, and parent feedback.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
Over the past year I have been contributing to my blog in order to pursue my passion for writing. Being an active blogger allows me to practice writing in a style that differs to academic English. I also enjoy personal challenges with a goal to raise money for charity. In 2014 I completed the Race for Life 10K and in May 2015 I’m taking part in The MoonWalk London Marathon. Health and exercise are very important to me.
