After graduating with a 2:1 degree in Economics, I started teaching Economics as home tutor. I follow the subject specifications closely while explaining concepts to students and I try to use simple examples from everyday life to help students relate economic concepts to what they see happening around them.
I believe that close to the exams, it is best to do past papers as much as possible and then discuss the papers with students, explaining to them how to improve their answering style, the depth of detail required.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
I work as a supply teacher with an agency and will soon start my PGCE in A level Economics.
