I’m a 32 year old professional who works in the media industry. I have worked unofficially as a tutor for around 5 years (mainly with university work and final dissertations), my mantra is to enable pupils to achieve academic excellence and providing them with the tools in order to be confident pupils going forward.
I want to tutor in order to supplement my income but also engage with young people actively and assist them to develop, gain knowledge and confidence within the areas that they require.
In my role day to day I work within production management for a large organisation, my key accountabilities are delivering productions and projects on time and under budget with a focus on high quality output.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
When I’m not tutoring I mentor young people within community radio, I like to socialise and keep myself occupied attending gigs, plays, theater and world cinema. S. has a lot of experience with children. She relates well with them and has been very encouraging. She definitely shows a desire to help the children.
Very good relationship with those she is working with
