Gibb and Powell make up cross-party keynote speakers at Impact conference

TES partners with major Teach First conference

Schools minister Nick Gibb and shadow education secretary Lucy Powell will both address July’s Impact Conference, Teach First, in partnership with TES, has revealed.

The cross-party pairing will also be joined by former Labour cabinet minister and current chair of the Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission, Alan Milburn.

They will discuss latest developments in education, teaching, policy and social mobility.

As well as having access to leading international experts, speakers and policy debates, visitors will be able to attend more than 140 high-quality and practical sessions, centred around four key streams: the classroom and school leadership; charities and social enterprise; policy and research; and personal leadership development.
