About me:
I have a Master Degree “with honours, 1st level“ in Foreign Modern Languages and Literatures (English and German) and I just completed a Post-graduate-teacher-training a sort of Italian version of British PGCE.
I also sat Cambridge didactic and pedagogic exams like TKT – Module 3, TKT – Clil and took other qualifications like IELTS, Interpersonal Communication, Business English, etc…
With experience working at both primary and secondary level, as well as at Further/Adult Education, my approach is enriched by several courses, workshops and experiences of formal and informal teaching. I am a committed, cheerful, easy-going person and my motto is: If lessons are effective and fun, everybody is motivated!
What I do when I am not tutoring:
I have been teaching as a private tutor for more than 10 years now to learners of different levels and nationalities. I plan my lessons trying to encounter their interests so to stir their motivation to learn.As already mentioned, motivation is an essential key-word to my teaching approach. I also take in consideration my students’ learning style and interests. I try offering a wide range of activities, role-plays, games etc..to meet diverse needs and likes.Here in London I have been cooperating with some language schools as an Italian teacher and tutor since last October 2013.
