About me:
Having been born and raised in Dorset, I am now a qualified teacher, working in central London.
I moved here to work as a primary school teacher in an Outstanding School.
I really enjoy teaching and tutoring. I teach all primary subjects ie. Maths, English, Science etc. However, I have also been a Guitar tutor where I prepared, delivered and assessed lessons for my pupils. What we covered was balanced between what they wanted and what I believed would push them to becoming a better player.
My teaching style is relaxed. I believe that an environment free from stress makes rapid learning possible. I also ensure that my pupils enjoy themselves; my experience from working in many state schools in England has proved to me that having a positive attitude to learning is vital.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
I enjoy listening to, playing, and recording music of many genres;
Visiting London’s museums;
Reading my Kindle;
Keeping up to date with the Premier League.
