About me:
I work in a State Secondary School as a Teaching Assistant and cover many different subjects. I enjoy working with students, particularly those who need extra support and guidance in their learning. I work with many students who have learning disabilities and have taken an active interest in their development and support throughout the school day. I have developed key successful teaching techniques and continue to face and surpass new challenges on a daily basis.
I have a globally recognized qualification to Teach English as a Foreign Language and I am a resourceful and patient tutor. I am enthusiastic about learning and will make the extra effort to teach students to understand, however they understand best, what they need to do in order to succeed in academics and future life. I have also worked in other industries and businesses including aviation, retail, private and personalized gifts and optometry.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
When I am not tutoring I like to socialise with family and friends and go for walks outdoors. I listen to and play music and enjoy writing arrangements on the Piano, Guitar and Ukulele. I like to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit several continents throughout my life. Finally, I like to make things, small projects, gardening and cooking foods from different countries in the world.
