About me:
I completed my combined Bachelor degree in European Studies with German at the University of Essex. I then worked in the health & fitness industry for a few years before moving into administration and finally the education sector. TEFL certificate to be obtained in 2015.
My work as a fitness coach enabled me to gain extremely valuable experience in teaching individuals and groups of people, using my Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction. I created tailor-made programs of exercise for people of all ages and with specific, individual conditions and preferences. I also taught various different gym classes.
A great amount of patience, tact and compassion as well as the ability to motivate and push was required for the role and I excelled at this.
I adapt my teaching to the student and focus on his/her needs, after all everyone learns differently. I remain focused on achieving the goal set and will push the student constructively, but am understanding and motivate them to achieve the best results possible.
I am about to begin working as a full time primary and secondary teaching assistant at a London school in September and will be private tutoring in the late afternoons and evenings.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
When I am not teaching/tutoring, I love to train at the gym. I also like to travel a lot and spend valuable time with friends. I also translate and transcribe the languages I speak for various companies and clients in London and abroad
