About me:
I am a young professional graduating from the University of Southampton in Biomedical Sciences BSc (Hons). My background is scientific and so I am knowledgeable in Biology and Chemistry.
I am a trainee accountant by profession and so I am incredinly passionate about Mathematics. I hope to bring across this enthusiasm to my students!
I taylor my services to the needs of the tutee, where if there are any specific subject areas which require attention, these will be a priority as to put these topics to peace of mind. However if the tutee is unsure as to what to go through, a simple test/exam past paper can be done to cover subject areas for further practice.
In mathematics tutoring my approach is to use a basic example to understand the fundamental principle of how to calculate the answer. Once this has been acknowledged, I would then work through a few more examples until they feel comfortable.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
I tutor my younger siblings who are currently studying for their GCSEs. However, when I am not tutoring, I am studying towards my ACCA, professional chartered accounting qualification. I also volunteer for a number of charities. I do enjoy playing Badminton for a local team. Although I’m not as good as I was when I was at university!
