Many of our tutors are graduates from top universities including Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities. All our tutors are required to hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree or a 2:2 degree combined with a Masters, Postgraduate degree, Teacher training certificate or equivalent. A large number of our tutors have QTS (Qualified teacher status) or have gained teaching or tutoring experience schools in the UK.
All our tutors are interviewed by a member of our team. In addition to this, we carry out extensive checks on each tutor’s identification, degree certificates, teaching certificates and any other qualifications that they may hold. We also conduct reference checks on all our private tutors and ensure that they are DBS cleared (formerly CRB) prior to registering with WISE Tutors.
