About me:
I am an academic and professional coach, specializing in philosophical counselling and academic tutoring. Originally trained in psychology I have held visiting lectureships around the world, including as adjunct professor at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego CA, the United States International University in Mexico City, and as a visiting lecture in psychology including at University of Buckingham. My professional coaching began as an organisation development consultant in Shell in London, and since in independent practice at Aperion Coaching & Tutoring Services.
My approach is based on accumulated practical know how and academic research into experiential learning, positive psychology, and learning styles, the results of which I have had published in peer-reviewed academic journals including Education & Psychological Measurement, Personality & Individual Differences, and Psychological Reports. My belief is that learning and education are based and tailored on a rigorous appraisal of individual differences in the learners’ interests, values, and personality, allowing each individual’s uniqueness to become naturally emerge into their unique life path and career/life aspirations.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
Aside from my work at Aperion Coaching & Tutoring Services, I am an exhibiting fine artist, working mostly in abstract acrylic and oil painting, also experimenting with time-based technologies and sound-based imagery in my work.
