About me:
I am currently a year 2 teacher at a vibrant school in Peckham. I began working with children several years ago as a sports coach. I then went on to cover lessons at a South London secondary school before becoming a primary teacher.
I am highly experienced in the teaching and learning of young people, especially those with learning difficulties and behaviour management issues. I have exceptional knowledge of the primary curriculum as well as the requirements of the KS1 & 2 SATs tests.
I am committed to the development of all children and focus on creating learning environments that all learners can reach their full potential physically, socially and mentally.
I am passionate about children and learning and I want to share my enthusiasm with learners in an out of a school context by providing many new and exciting ways for children to learn.
Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential with the help of exceptional qualified teachers and I believe tutoring is one way of helping children achieve this.
What I do when I am not tutoring:
In my spare time I take part in various sports including tennis, squash, basketball and athletics. Fitness is very important to me and I use to competitively compete in athletics.
I also enjoy writing and use every opportunity I have to write stories, poems and songs.
In my spare time I visit museums and galleries because I believe it inspires me to be more creative in my teaching and also to help me explore new things.
